About Me

Gideon Banks

Hello, my name is Gideon Banks. I was born eyes opened face-out-first on Tuesday, May 24th, 1983 at about 1:00pm. I have three elder brothers and three adorable younger sisters.

I’m an artist, entrepreneur, business consultant and writer. For me, life is an art and every waking moment must be lived in style without losing touch on individuality, creativity and humanity. Some people find me crazy, others, amazing; but I’m categorically unconventional. I figured I can only be the best by being myself. Most people believe I’m gifted, but I know I’m only lucky – lucky to locate my gifts.

I truly don’t think I’m the appropriate person to to talk about myself as I might be tempted to put my best foot forward, which may impair the accuracy of my account – somehow.

Hence, I begged Tolu, my baby sister to help out. I figured she’s more qualified – having been my best critic and a wonderful friend all her life. She agreed to this on the condition that I won’t add or remove a word. So I had no choice.

Below are Tolu’s thoughts about me:

Gideon has a specific charisma about him. He’s a man of great passion and energy for excellence. He is intelligent, self reliant, self confident, individualistic and independent. He has lots and lots of integrity and finds it very easy to respect others as much as he respects himself. Truthful, down-to-earth and straightforward, Gideon is deep and alarmingly deep. He is also very enduring and stronger than most men I know. Above all, he is imaginative, creative, perceptive and versatile. 

I am never surprised when he does anything excellently well, because from Gideon, you should expect only the best and then… nothing. 

In reference to the Oxford Advanced Learners’ Dictionary’s third definition of sophisticated, Gideon Banks is sophisticated, entirely sophisticated.
